Survey for Reliability & Risk Analysis for Fusion Technologies workshop

Survey for Reliability & Risk Analysis for Fusion Technologies workshop

About this course

We’re exploring the possibility of organizing a workshop focused on Reliability & Risk Analysis of Fusion Technologies in Barcelona, Spain, during Spring 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed) and we would love to gauge interest from the community.

This short survey is meant to understand how many people would be interested in attending, and under what conditions (e.g., free vs paid, travel support, etc.). A Google Form Link is attached at the end of the post.

The workshop goals would be:

  • To introduce foundational concepts and international standards
  • To teach practical tools and techniques such as FMEA, FTA, RBD and safety analysis methods
  • To apply these methods to a simplified fusion-like system through hands-on exercises
  • To explore the integration of emerging technologies like AI, Digital Twins, or VR in RAMI and Risk Analyses.

This course is designed for professionals with early to intermediate experiences in roles such as:

  • Nuclear Engineers
  • Systems Engineers
  • Safety Engineers
  • Technical Project Managers
  • QA/QC Professionals in high-tech industries
