The second edition of the Jules Horowitz Reactor (JHR) Advanced School is set to take place
at Aix-Marseille University (AMU, Campus St. Jérôme, Filière Instrumentation) in Marseille (France) from 13– 17 October 2025.
The JHR Material Test Reactor project, currently under construction, aims to provide the essential means needed to test the behaviour of materials and fuels under irradiation in order to support current and future nuclear reactors.
In this light, the JHR Advanced School aims to introduce Materials Testing Reactors (MTRs) to a new audience and engage and prepare young researchers to explore the future opportunities offered by the JHR.
This second edition of the JHR Advanced School is organised by:
UNIBO, AMU, CEA, the JHR consortium and CONNECT-NM.
