lead the design and development of the process systems for industrial and nuclear users with the support of the other process engineers within the Nuclear Facilities team. This includes cooling, water treatment and supply, treatment and handling of liquid waste (including radioactive waste) and industrial gases.
ensure that the design of the process systems is compliant with the requirements of the users, systems and functional requirements.
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate the process systems within the overall facility design and operations under the management of the systems integrator.
identify potential industrial and nuclear risks associated with the process systems and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on operations and safety.
ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices in process systems operations.
support the procurement activities, contractor selection and vendor management from a technical point of view.
provide technical expertise and guidance to engineers and technicians involved in the process system design, operation, and maintenance.
